How our tradelines transform your file.
Established tradelines deliver immediate credibility and long-term credit-building advantages that traditional methods can't match.
What is a personal tradeline?
A tradeline is a credit account that appears on your personal credit report — showing payment history, credit limits, utilization, and account age. Tradelines are the foundation of your FICO score, and four factors shape how much they help.
The biggest single factor in your FICO score.
How much credit you're using vs. what's available to you.
The length of your reported credit history.
A balanced portfolio of revolving and installment credit.
Instant Credit Boost
Established tradelines immediately strengthen your file — score increases typically arrive within 90 days as bureaus verify and weight the account.
- Immediate credit history
- Faster loan & credit card qualification
- Higher limits from other lenders
Better Financial Doors
A stronger file signals financial responsibility — opening you up to better mortgage rates, premium credit cards, and favorable auto loan terms.
- Lower mortgage interest rates
- Premium credit card approvals
- Better auto loan terms
Credit Mix & Utilization
A high-limit revolving tradeline lowers your overall utilization ratio while adding diversity to your credit mix — two factors that compound in your favor.
- Improved credit mix (10% of FICO)
- Lower aggregate utilization
- Balanced credit portfolio
Comprehensive Reporting
Unlike most tradeline services, HL Hunt reports to all three personal bureaus — ensuring your work shows up everywhere lenders look.
- Reports to all 3 major bureaus
- FICO & VantageScore optimization
- Monthly automated reporting

The 12-month advantage.
Credit building isn't a sprint — it's a marathon. Cancel anytime, but staying the full twelve months is where the score increases stack and the doors actually start opening.
Cancelling early can erase the score gains
The clock matters. Quitting before your first year closes can undo the credit-building work already in motion. Here's what happens when you pull the plug too soon:
- Account closure reduces your available credit, spiking utilization ratio
- Loss of positive payment history before it fully impacts your FICO score
- Shortened credit age — a lasting dent in your credit profile
- Investment spent with minimal long-term score improvement to show for it
Your credit-building journey, mapped.
Foundation Building
Your tradeline appears on your credit report. Bureaus log the new account and initial setup completes. The foundation is laid.
Early Recognition
Bureaus begin weighting your payment pattern. Your FICO model starts factoring in the new on-time history.
Momentum Building
Consistent reporting establishes credibility. Utilization stabilizes and lenders start seeing a creditworthy profile.
Maximum Impact
Full credit history matures. This is when the largest gains land — premium card approvals, lower mortgage rates, real funding access.
The difference twelve months makes.
Why twelve months changes the picture.
Bureau Recognition
Bureaus need 12+ months of consistent on-time payments to fully weight your tradeline in FICO and VantageScore models.
Maximum Score Impact
The largest score jumps land between months 9 and 12, when your payment history reaches full maturity in the scoring models.
Lender Confidence
Banks and lenders want to see at least twelve months of clean history before offering their best rates and premium products.
Account Age Benefits
Older accounts carry more weight in scoring. Twelve months establishes your tradeline as a mature, valuable line of credit.
Utilization Optimization
Twelve months gives your aggregate utilization ratio time to stabilize and optimize — a major lever in FICO scoring.
Long-Term Value
The credit improvements from a twelve-month commitment keep paying dividends for years — the highest-ROI decision in personal finance.

Everything about personal credit.
Straight answers on how HL Hunt builds your personal credit, what it costs, what it unlocks, and what you should know going in.
A membership-based revolving credit account opened in your name. Every month you make your on-time payment, we report a primary tradeline to Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion — building real, scoreable credit history under your file.
It pairs with credit education, dispute services, and monitoring so the score work happens on multiple fronts at once.
Tiers from $9.99 to $99.99/moThree things move your score in parallel:
1. A new positive tradeline reports to all three bureaus monthly under your name. 2. Credit monitoring tracks your score across all three bureaus so you can see progress in real time. 3. Dispute support helps challenge inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable negative items under the FCRA.
Most members see their first score movement within 30–90 days of enrollment.
Anyone who wants to build, rebuild, or strengthen their credit — whether you have no credit history, a thin file, damaged credit from past mistakes, or a decent score you're trying to push into the 750+ range for a mortgage or refinance.
There's no minimum credit score to qualify. We work with people at every starting point.
All credit levels welcomeMemberships start at $9.99/mo for a $1,000 tradeline and scale up to $99.99/mo for a $10,000 tradeline. Higher tiers report larger credit limits, which carry more weight with bureaus and lower your utilization ratio more aggressively.
No setup fees, no application fees, no penalty to cancel. Most members stay 12 months — that's when the score gains fully mature.
The tradeline reports the month after signup. Most members see initial movement within 30–90 days, larger gains by month 6, and the maximum impact between months 9 and 12.
How much you'll move depends on your starting point — thin-file members typically see bigger jumps than already-strong files, but everyone benefits from the on-time payment history compounding over a year.
All three major personal credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Every month, on time, in Metro 2 format — the same data format banks and major creditors use.
Reporting to all three matters because different lenders pull from different bureaus, and some scoring models weight one bureau heavier than another.
All 3 bureaus · Metro 2 formatHL Hunt memberships are primary tradelines — the account is opened in your name, the balance is yours, the payment history is yours. That's significantly more valuable than authorized-user (AU) tradelines, which can be removed or devalued by FICO scoring at any time.
We also offer authorized-user tradelines separately for members who want to layer additional positive history on top, but the membership product itself is always primary.
Primary tradeline · in your nameYes — every tier includes credit monitoring across all three bureaus. You'll see your FICO and VantageScore move month over month, and catch any reporting errors before they hurt your file.
Yes. We assist with disputing inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable negative items on your credit report — fully within the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). That includes incorrect personal information, accounts that aren't yours, balance or status errors, items past the 7-year reporting window, and items the furnisher can't verify.
What we won't do is pretend valid debts don't exist. If an item is accurate and verifiable, no dispute will permanently remove it — the strategy there is positive new history outweighing the negative over time.
If they're inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated, we can dispute them — and removal is common. Many collections accounts can't actually be verified to the level required by the FCRA when challenged properly, and time-barred items (typically past 7 years) must be removed by law.
For accurate, verifiable late payments and collections, we focus on offsetting them with positive new tradeline history — which is often the faster path to a better score anyway.
No. There's no hard inquiry to enroll, and the new tradeline adds to your credit profile rather than subtracting from it. The first month or two might show small fluctuation as the account ages into your average — that's normal and resolves quickly.
The program is built to improve your file, not damage it.
Yes — fully. HL Hunt operates within the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and all applicable state consumer protection laws. We don't promise illegal removals, we don't manufacture fake identities, and we don't use any of the shortcuts that get other "credit repair" outfits in regulatory trouble.
The membership tradeline is a real credit account. Disputes go through the legal process established by federal law.
CROA & FCRA compliantNo legitimate credit company can — and we'll never claim otherwise. Anyone guaranteeing a specific score increase is either lying or operating illegally under CROA.
What we can tell you: members who stay the full 12 months average +142 points across the three bureaus. Your specific result depends on your starting point, the rest of your credit profile, and your on-time payment consistency.
Yes — but expect a timeline, not a magic switch. A higher score from a stronger file unlocks lower mortgage rates, better auto loan terms, premium credit card approvals, and lower insurance premiums in many states.
The members who refinance or buy at year-end after joining typically save five or six figures over the life of the loan compared to where they would have qualified the year before. The math compounds fast.
Yes — there are no lock-ins, no cancellation fees, no contracts. That said, cancelling before 12 months can actually undo some of the credit gains in progress (account closure raises utilization, and you lose the on-time history that hadn't fully matured yet).
For most members, staying the full 12 months is where the score gains stack and the doors actually start opening.
Pick a membership tier, sign up in under five minutes, and your tradeline starts reporting the month after enrollment. No paperwork, no hard inquiry, no waiting on underwriting.
If you're not sure which tier fits, the MidLevel tier ($4,500 tradeline at $49.99/mo) is the most common starting point — it carries enough credit limit to meaningfully move utilization on most files without overcommitting on the membership.
