4. NATURE OF HL HUNT CREDIT LINE
- The HL Hunt Credit Line is an in-house tradeline issued by HL Hunt and is not a loan, secured credit card, or revolving line of credit.
- This Credit Line functions as a membership-based reporting tradeline, meaning HL Hunt reports on-time payment history to participating credit bureaus for active members.
- The tradeline is issued in an amount determined solely by HL Hunt, based on the Member’s membership tier and payment history.
- HL Hunt reserves the right to adjust the credit line amount, terms, and reporting frequency at its sole discretion, in accordance with applicable laws and industry standards.
Members acknowledge that the HL Hunt Credit Line is intended to improve their personal credit profile and is not a form of direct financing. The effectiveness of the tradeline depends on the Member’s timely payment behavior and external credit factors.
5. CREDIT REPORTING DISCLOSURE
- HL Hunt reports account activity, including on-time payments, late payments, and default status, to designated consumer credit bureaus.
- Member acknowledges that HL Hunt does not control how credit bureaus interpret or weigh reported data.
- Reporting timelines vary by bureau, and HL Hunt is not responsible for delays in credit updates.
- It is the Member’s responsibility to verify their credit report for accuracy. Any disputes regarding reported data must be submitted in writing to HL Hunt within 30 days of discovery.
- HL Hunt reserves the right to cease reporting in cases of account delinquency, fraud, or policy violations.
- If a Member believes a reporting error has been made, they must submit a written dispute including supporting documentation.
- Credit bureaus independently determine how reported data affects credit scores and lending decisions.
6. PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS
- Members must maintain active and on-time payments for the HL Hunt membership to keep a positive reporting status.
- Late payments may result in negative credit reporting and possible removal from the Program.
- Failure to pay membership fees for more than 60 days may result in account suspension, termination, and a reported delinquency.
- Payments are non-refundable once processed.
- HL Hunt reserves the right to adjust membership fees with at least 30 days’ prior written notice to Members.
- Members who wish to modify their membership plan must submit a written request.
7. ACCOUNT CLOSURE & TERMINATION
- Members may voluntarily terminate participation by providing written notice to HL Hunt at least 30 days in advance.
- HL Hunt reserves the right to terminate any Member’s participation for fraud, misrepresentation, non-payment, or any breach of these Terms.
- Upon termination, HL Hunt may report the closure of the account to the credit bureaus, which may impact the Member’s credit profile.
- In the event of termination due to non-payment, HL Hunt may take additional actions to collect outstanding balances, including but not limited to debt collection or legal proceedings.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
- HL Hunt does not guarantee a specific increase in credit scores or guarantee approval for financing as a result of participation in the Program.
- Credit bureaus and lenders have independent criteria for evaluating creditworthiness, which HL Hunt does not control.
- The Program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- HL Hunt disclaims any liability for Members’ failure to secure personal credit or financing as a result of participation in the Program.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

- HL Hunt is not responsible for adverse credit decisions made by third parties based on credit data reported through the Program.
- Members agree to hold HL Hunt harmless against any claims, liabilities, or disputes arising from participation in the Program.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW
- Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Kentucky, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
